Block Watch is the first timepiece by London designer Tom Dixon.
The watch features a distinctive square case stamped from a piece of brass and a circular face with etched numerals that point precisely to the time markers. The watch’s hour, minute and second hands are powered by a high-quality Swiss movement.
“I’m trying to produce something with an expressive neutrality,” says Dixon in the movie we filmed at his studio in London. “I tend to try and work out what I can strip out without losing character.”.
The watch is 40x40mm square and comes with a brown leather strap.

About the brand
Self-taught British designer Tom Dixon founded his titular studio in 2002. Since then, Dixon has turned his hand to everything from lighting and interiors to furniture and industrial design – but hasn’t, until recently, designed a watch. The Block Watch, launched in 2012, is the brand’s debut timepiece.See more Tom Dixon watches
