Kiura white chronograph is Italian designer Alessio Romano’s latest watch for US brand Projects.
When spoken aloud, “Ki-uh-ra” asks “What time is it?” in the designer’s Sicilian dialect. Its minimal, unfussy design references Japanese ideas of simplicity.
Kiura has 3 sub-dials, a stopwatch measuring time in minutes, a sub-dial measuring time in seconds and a third sub-dial measuring time in 24 hour increments. These are adjusted by three crowns on the side.
The 40mm case is made of black iron-plated stainless steel and joins a leather strap.
|Case material||Stainless steel|
