Import duties & tax for orders shipped outside the EU
All our orders are shipped from within the UK. Whilst we offer free shipping, you are responsible for paying any local import duties and taxes which may be applied to orders shipped outside the EU. These fees differ depending on the value of your purchase and the delivery location so we recommend checking with your local customs office before ordering.
Shipping options for watches
Orders placed before 1.00pm (GMT) will be dispatched the same day and delivered between three to five working days to all UK and EU destinations. (This excludes Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands). Any orders placed after 1pm GMT on a Friday, over the weekend or on a UK bank holiday will be dispatched the next working day. All London orders will be delivered within two working days.
Once your order has been packaged and dispatched, you will receive an email with full tracking details. Please allow up to 24 hours for your tracking information to be activated.
All orders placed after 1.00pm (GMT) will be dispatched the next working day.
UK standard and express orders are dispatched via UPS, all non-UK orders are dispatched via FedEx
Orders placed before 1.00pm GMT will be dispatched the same day and delivered within two working days to EU destinations and the next working day to UK and North American destinations. Any orders placed after 1pm GMT on a Friday, over the weekend or on a UK bank holiday will be dispatched the next working day.
Please note our delivery carriers operate on working days only. Any orders shipped will be processed and delivered Monday to Friday only. Deliveries cannot be made on Saturday, Sunday, bank holidays or public holidays.

All book orders are sent without tracking via Royal Mail and will take approximately 3 working days (UK) and 5-7 working days (EU, USA and Rest of world) to arrive from the date of dispatch.

We understand that sometimes despite your best efforts, Christmas gifts might not be quite right. Any purchases made between 1 November and 24 December 2016 are covered by our extended returns policy. Any full-price watch purchases made in this period have until 16 January 2017 to either be returned or exchanged, so long as they haven’t been worn or tried on. The watch must be returned in a resalable condition without any visible marks to the face or strap and must include all original packaging, tags and manuals. The cost of returning the watch to us must be covered by the customer.
We accept returns / exchanges for full-price watches that are unsuitable or unwanted as long as they haven’t been worn or tried on and are returned within 28 days of the original purchase date. The watch must be returned in a resalable condition without any visible marks to the case, face or strap and must include all original packaging, tags and manuals. Where returned watches are unsealed, worn or not in reasonable re-saleable condition or, if return is due to damage or defectiveness caused by you, we will not be able to provide any replacement or issue a full refund. Any wear or creases on watch straps, particularly leather ones, the cost of replacing the strap will be deducted from the refund. The cost of returning the watch to us must be covered by the customer.
If you have a problem with your watch after wearing it this then falls under the manufacturer’s warranty. Repairs and replacements will be dealt directly with the manufacturer.
Customers wishing to return sale items have 7 days from receipt of goods to request a return or exchange. The watch must be returned in a resalable condition without any visible marks to the face or strap and must include all original packaging, tags and manuals. The cost of returning the watch to us must be covered by the customer.
Repair & replacements
If your watch is faulty within 28 days of receipt please contact us as soon as possible quoting ‘Returns Request’ in the subject heading and giving your full name, contact details, order number, reasons for return and whether you request a repair or replacement.
Once we have received your returned watch, we will either replace the watch or issue a full refund within 28 days.
If your watch is faulty and exceeds 28 days, then this falls under the manufacturer’s warranty and must be returned directly to the manufacturer. You are liable for the cost of postage and packing for this item. If you are unable to contact the manufacturer please contact us and we will forward your request to the correct correspondent.
How to make a return
To make a return please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject ‘Returns Request’. Please include your full name, order number, reason for return and whether you request a replacement, refund or exchange. We will provide return instructions and you must return the watch by post to our warehouse within 14 days. The cost of returning the watch must be covered by the customer.
As a consumer under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2015, you may cancel any order placed on the site for any reason within 7 working days from the date of the order for a full refund. To do so send us an email at email@example.com within 7 working days of your order, quoting “Cancellation” in the subject heading, and including your email, your name, contact details, order number, and stating that you wish to cancel your order. Cancellations received after this statutory cancellation period will not be valid.
Incorrect shipping details and refusal to pay duties & tax invoices
For orders that are returned to us due to incorrect shipping addresses or as a result of refusing to pay any import duties and tax invoices, the cost of returning the package will be deducted from the order refund. A refund will only be issued once the goods have been returned to us. Please note that return shipping times may vary and Dezeen Watch Store is not responsible for any delays caused by the customs clearance process in overseas countries and delays on the part of third party fulfilment services.
We may terminate a contract for sale of watches to you under these terms at any time for any reason by email notice to you in the event of any breach by you of these terms.
On termination, your outstanding order(s) will be immediately cancelled. The price paid to us for the relevant order(s) will be refunded on termination, unless the relevant watches in question have already been dispatched to you prior to termination in which case the relevant price will not be refunded.
