The watch displays the time via two ball bearings that move around the face and case. As well as providing a stylish timepiece for blind people, it has proven to have a broad appeal, particularly for wearers looking for a discreet solution that allows them to check the time without anyone noticing.
Created by new design company E-one, the watch is one of the nominees for this year’s Designs of the Year award, organised by the Design Museum.
It is named after Bradley Snyder, an ex-naval officer who lost his eyesight in an explosion in Afghanistan in 2011 and who went on to win gold and silver medals at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
We expect to receive our first shipment of The Bradley timepieces towards the end of May.
