The great Italian architect and designer Achille Castiglioni (1918-2002) designed the black Record watch in 2000, making it one of the last products he worked on. It is regarded as a design classic and is one of Alessi’s best-selling watches.
The dial, with its large, playful numbers, was designed by Max Hubert, a Swiss designer and friend of Castiglioni’s.
Record has a stainless steel case which is entirely removable from its leather strap.
The watch comes in two sizes: small (30.2 mm face) or medium (36.14 mm face).
